Love this knife! It has become my "must take" camping/fishing trip knife along with a filet knife. It's heavy enough to use a chopper and sharp enough for most any campsite chore. The feel and "no slip"grip of the handle fits my hand just perfectly. I am a firm believer that all fixed blades should have a guard and this one fits the blade-to-handle very well, not too big or too small. I also am impressed the sheath can be used horizontally so I can carry the knife cross carry on my belt behind me so it is out of the way until needed and not hanging down on my side. I am a collector and have hundreds of knives but this one is a "user!"

This is an amazing knife! I picked mine up at Cabela's for $55 but I have seen them on Amazon for around $30. The blade is "6 long and weighs approx. 11.7 oz. The sheath is made of kydex and balistic nylon. The sheath is in a rectangular shape making it ambadextrious. It has a cord with basic clip for attaching around the thigh or chest.

The blade is made of a high-carbon 440A steel. It is very flat. It is full tang and 0.220 inches thick. The handle is made of a soft ballistic gel and has two deep finger grooves not ideal for large hands. Pick this blade up at the first chance you get!
