Hi. A very thick full tang blade. Comes with a high quality leather sheath. The handle is quality riveted hardwood but is a little chunky and thick. The grind on the edge is very similar to some axe type edges. A very heavy duty and all round quality Item. Will be an absolute pain to sharpen as there is a hell of a lot of blade to remove for a fine edge. This tool is made for hacking not carving. The high carbon high quality tool steel will need a little care as in an oily wipe after use. But then again it will last for a lifetimes service.
