Comments:
While A decent knife as far as construction is concerned it is a dedicated fighting knife unless modified( hey they do have a place like everything else) anyways, it has wonderful edge retention as well as ruggedness, the handle is comfortable and a full tang. The reason for an 8 instead of a 10 is well its a pain in the ass as a utility knife and does need some modification to be practical even as a defensive/offensive combat knife anyways it will last forever and take a good edge if you have one then enjoy it, if you don't but are thinking about it well I would recommend having a look at one of the short ka-bars.
