I have had my eyes on the RAT 5 almost since the first day I started getting into knives. I will say that this blade does not disappoint. Good weight for chopping, amazing blade design, USA made, the sheath gets the job done, and all for under $100. The handle is thick so if you have small hands you will find the knife can cramp your hands. I wear size large gloves and the handle feels great, but my wife does not like it with her smaller hands. For tactical or survival this blade really excels.

The RAT 5 is a great knife! Well balanced and extremely sharp 1095 blade. I especially like the grip and the way the handle fits the contour of my hands. I've ordered two with Kydex sheaths to take to the take to field. The only negative that I see in the knife is the sheath that's sold with it.
