I have to say I'm from Italy so you could understand the price and my incorrect English.
This is a regional knife from Thiers, a French city known for old tradition in knives. This is a spring lock knife, for two hand use It's a bit hard to open and close the blade, but makes a good overall solid impression. The blade is 12C27 steel or Norwegian steel, which is decorous steel usually used in French regional knives.
The spring is well decorated, and at this price this is admirable. Mine has the horn handle, but you can find this knife with many kinds of wood or other materials. The best use of this knife is with food, and other light use. I think that is great value folder with high attraction, especially compared with other modern/tactical folders of the same price range.
