This knife is all business. By that, I mean that it isn't very pretty or flashy but it is very functional. The shape of the blade is perfect for self defense since it can penetrate as well as slash and the size is just about right. The build quality is sturdy, with thick liners, zytel scales to resist scratches and a hefty s30v blade that comes to a sharp point. I found it just a tad too heavy for EDC so I carry it only when I think I might need a self defense knife. I purchased the manual model since there are legal issues for automatic models and the difference in opening speed is negligible. The only complaint I have is that the handle is too slippery for a self defense knife. There are no finger grooves and the texture is not rough enough.

I have the lone wolf D/A and I agree with that it is a nice knife and all..but if you open the knife manually, the bottom bar doesnt engage and lock properly,I have stitches to prove it..I closed the knife back up with just a little pressure from my hands and the lock snapped...Automatically it locks up decently...Too bad they went out of business, I wanted to send it back because of their lifetime warranty
