This is an old school knife. It was only offered to members of the USN (Usual Suspect Network) forum a few years back. It has a blade that is almost 5 inches and it has toxic green (I call them zombie green) handles with a molded clip(no screws!!). It uses a special rust proof H1 steel and has mostly plain edge with a few serrations. It's a really cool knife, but if I'm honest I don't cut with it all too often because it's a collector.

I have been looking for a knife that can put up with the amount of use I put into it. I train for survival situations and backpack a lot so my knife and ax are very important tools. The Glock knife I bought has a saw back, which is AWESOME in my opinion. The ergonomics of the knife make it very comfortable to use. The steal holds up great, but doesn't sharpen as well as some of my other knives. However, I would give up the sharp edge for the overall toughness of this knife.

That's not all... There is more! I have quite a collection of throwing knives, and the Glock is by far my favorite throwing knife in my collection. I was very surprised, but the first time I threw this knife it was more comfortable than my others. It fly's well, and the tip holds up great!

The knife is well worth its price.

I have owned one version or another of this knife and carry it everyday at work. It gets plenty of use. I have also ha issue with spring getting weak but I don't see this as a real issue as long as I can open with one hand.
The serrations on that version are insane and will go through about anything. Great for camping. I now tend to carry the non serrated at work just because it suits my needs better. Overall a heat knife for the price. The only downfall is I like a razor sharp blade and this does not hold its edge as well as other knives I have. I sharpen it just about every day when I get home. If you don't use it as much as I do this may not be a problem for you.

The TOPS KNIVES Scandi Trekker is the 3rd knife in the Scandi series from TOPS. It is the perfect size for bushcraft or camp tasks and would also be a good companion to a hatchet or larger wilderness blade. It is pure fun to use and defiantly worth owning if you are looking for a knife of its size.

Big, burly, and awesome. It's a boss knife and has served me well on many a camping trip and overnight trekking adventure. Quality is high, weight is reasonable. Edge lasts a long time. No problems with it whatsoever. Great knife.

Wanted a good machete for clearing briar bushes, pricker patches and other sticking, scatchinging brushes. I don't live in the tropics or jungles, I need one for the Southern Tier of Upstate New York. I didn't need one for chopping, saplings or thicker trees, but this one serves double duty and does both, nice option to have. The handle is a little slick, they should do something about that, but otherwise, a pretty good investment.

I've had my Byrd Raven for over two years and I still carry it everyday. It is easy to open and close, feels very comfortable in my pocket and hand. It takes and holds a very sharp edge. I love the weight, and one hand open and close operation is a snap. Sometimes I carry one of my many other knives, as I have a large collection, but I always come back to my Raven. For style, comfort, workmanship, based on the great price, I really love it.

The SK-4 from Survive! Knives is one epic blade. The S7 tool steel is tough and holds a good edge, but is easy to resharpen. The kydex sheath is a great design and the and is very ergonomic. In its size range this should be at the top of everyone's list, for either bushcraft or survival

The SCH402 is my first ceramic blade, and I have to say that it is impressive for the price point. The ceramic is very sharp and has kept its edge very well. The carbon fiber handles are a nice touch making it very lightweight. If you want to try out a ceramic blade and not brake the bank, this might be the blade to try.

I Hear a lot of Flac when it comes to the SOG Twitch ii. Opinions Vary and I base my opinion on owning quite a few other Folders/EDC Knives. I've used my Twitch ii quite a lot and few times in some "emergency situations" where a screw driver would had been better, I'm not saying their aren't better knives and most certainly more expensive but for the money I'm telling you it's a Pretty Tough Little EDC Blade. I tighten the tension screw up where it virtually had "No Wobble" and after Hundreds of openings it has not loosen up yet. The Twitch ii is Good Looking, it's Light, It's Tough, it's inexpensive, good steel and comes with a Lifetime Warranty, What Else do you want ?

Comments:

The SOG Flashback mini is in my opinion a great looking knife. It feels great to hold and is a nice weight as well as a comfortable size. The knife balance is good with the blade and handle weighing the same which adds to the overall great feel when the blade is in hand. The blade deployment is very fast and relatively easy to open once it has been used a couple of times and with the ambidextrous thumb studs is is made more accessible. Straight out of the box however the blade can be slightly stiff. When the blade is open the thumb grip makes the knife a pleasure to hold and makes gripping very easy. The safety lock works well and feels secure however the red inside of the lock seems a bit cheap and was scratched when it arrived however this is just me being very picky. The pocket clip is very secure and has little to no chance of slipping off and also looks great with the SOG logo.

One problem however is the difficulty closing the blade once it has been deployed because of the pressure needed to close the lock located on the handle. As far as I am aware SOG will fix this problem if the knife is sent back however living in the UK makes this more difficult for me.

Overall I would definitely recommend this EDC from SOG and for the price is a great deal.
