I have owned one version or another of this knife and carry it everyday at work. It gets plenty of use. I have also ha issue with spring getting weak but I don't see this as a real issue as long as I can open with one hand.
The serrations on that version are insane and will go through about anything. Great for camping. I now tend to carry the non serrated at work just because it suits my needs better. Overall a heat knife for the price. The only downfall is I like a razor sharp blade and this does not hold its edge as well as other knives I have. I sharpen it just about every day when I get home. If you don't use it as much as I do this may not be a problem for you.

Solid Knife. Friend purchased me the knife as a gift, loved it when I got it. As an everyday carry I'm not sure if the spring bar is wearing out or if it is becoming misaligned. The spring doesn't fully open the knife anymore and because the thumb stud is the safety you find yourself putting extra "oomph" into the opening flick. There has been more than one instance where I found myself very nearly cut on my thumb upon opening only to be saved by my thumb's callous.

I have had this knife about 6 months now and it is still one of my favorites i carry every day. it was shave sharp out of the box. it was fast opening and was a solid built knife. the safety button on the blade is kinda hard to manipulate out of the box so some practice is in order but it is totally worth it. it keeps the blade away and it wont open unless you want it too. the Veff serrations on it are like razor blades themselves. I own the blacked out model and i must say that the blade looks the same as the day i un-boxed it. i love it so much i bought a second one to carry that was straight edge so i could keep the veff on the other one nice. the handle material is super grippy and is sturdy. it has solid liners making it more stable. its a good weight which is nice. i dont like heavy knives that much. the pocket clip is a low point. it is a great clip but the handle material will wear on what you clip it too. it sticks on there when clipped. it also sits really low in the pocket. its a wonderful knife and i would tell everyone to buy it.
