I've had my Byrd Raven for over two years and I still carry it everyday. It is easy to open and close, feels very comfortable in my pocket and hand. It takes and holds a very sharp edge. I love the weight, and one hand open and close operation is a snap. Sometimes I carry one of my many other knives, as I have a large collection, but I always come back to my Raven. For style, comfort, workmanship, based on the great price, I really love it.

Comments:

I had good expectations for this knife, but unfortunately, didn't care for it. Fit and finish were very poor. I had the G-10 version, and the scale edges were not all completely smoothed out, making it uncomfortable to hold. Liner lock release was sharp in the jimping, and also too short, pinching your finger against the sharp G-10 edge at every closing. I expected better from Spyderco quality control. Can't speak for the steel; it was too uncomfortable to hold to cut anything. Quickly I gave it away to a collector of this brand.
