One of my favorite knife designs.

The good: Awesome design by Mike Snody, Excellent ergos, Axis Lock, 154CM steel, Smooth as butter operation, Great thumbstuds, Great clip, Standoffs can be used for lanyard.

The bad: Exposed tang when closed, Blade not polished to match liners, Clip not polished, G-10 could be grippier, knife came dull with a shallow edge.

This knife is a tank!!!!. It has solid liners, Axis-lock, and a Uber thick blade. The only knife I say that is tougher in BM line up would be the 520 presidio.

The HK 14205 fits well in the hand and rides great in the pocket. The blade thickness is second to only the 630 and 755 in the BM line up of folders. This is also the smoothest opening BM folder I have ever owned.

One of my very favorite Benchmades is the HK branded model 14205 designed by Mike Snody. This is arguably one of the best knives I've ever owned...smooth as glass and perfectly centered out of the box, the 154CM blade holds a hair splitting edge and the flat G-10 scales make for an easy EDC pocket carry.

I highly recommend this knife.
