This is hand's down the best edc I've owned. I have carried Kershaws, bokers, Gerber, and several low end knives and this m21 is far above the rest. Opens quick and smoothly every time. Conceals fairly well with only a 1/4 inch or so sticking out of pocket. Mines lives in the 5th pocket of my jeans. The blade takes a good beating and holds it's edge well. Strong knife overall. Lock takes some getting used too. Once you have or down it closes as easy as any other knife. Highly recommend.

Update to my review. I somehow lost the male end of the pivot screw on the M21. Not sure how or where. Thought for sure I would find it sitting in the bottom my pocket somewhere, but the things never showed up. Just pulled out the knife one day and opened it up and noticed it was loose. While this was disappointing, the disappointment did not last long. CRKT backs all their products. I went online, filled out a form, and they sent me a knew screw with 2 weeks free of charge.

I got one for Father's day a couple of years ago, to replace my lost CRKT m16-01Z. I love this knife. Still miss the old one, but, I haven't replaced it with another just like it either.

I owned the knife for three years and used it for two in the Marines. It has never failed and it took hacking open sandbags to finally kill the factory edge. But it sharpenes up well. The only issue I have ever had was that it rides high out of your procket making it a poor choice for concealed carry. And the lightening holes in the grips collect pocket lint and are very difficult to clean. Otherwise this is a phenomenal fighting knife and packs some wow factor when you pop it open on someone.

Great knife. My friend liked it so much he bought one. I prefer the plain blade to the serrated.I also like the double locking device. I take it hiking along with my Bucklite Large fixblade.Good price even here in South Africa.

This is a great EDC. The knife retains it's edge very well. It is not too large that it is overbearing in your pocket. Some people may not like that CRKT have put their double lock on this knife but i like it. I am crazy about knife sharpness and i cannot get any of my other knives as sharp as this blade. it is 402 steel if i am not mistaken which makes it great quality. no cons so far. CRKT makes a great knife.
