Mine is called the CQT 747. Not sure what exactly the "Thunder Hawke" is but its a "Fox" made knife made for "Tops". I own many knives and anything made by Fox with N690 steel is hard to beat. This knife is a "beast" one of those knives that is not EDC but if the Zombie Apocalypse happens will be EDC.

A bargain for a titanium frame lock! TOPS is a great brand that gets less respect than it should but this model is sourced out to Fox of Italy and it is built very well with everything fitting perfectly, the blade just a wee bit off centre but with awesome/smooth opening action. There are some machine marks on the inside ti surfaces which deducted points but overall a very well assembled piece with excellent materials including G10, titanium and Bohler N690Co blade steel. The latter has left me undecided because I just find it difficult to get a razor edge on but that could be me. It is great at maintaining the edge it has. I also like that this blade has a decent geometry for actual cutting, unlike TOPS fixed blades, this thing is thin enough to be an effective slicer. I'd put this against an Emerson anyday and its far cheaper plus the lock has tons of life despite repeated openings. A solid knife that doesn't get enough respect.

This is a very nice, lightweight knife with a combination of titanium and G10 for the handles. Blade comes very sharp and retains and edge very well. It is extremely light weight, with the handles held together by only four spacer posts instead of being solid. While that may seem cheap at first, it's actually really sturdy and helps keep the weight down. It does, however, mean that pocket lint will get on the blade. Overall, it's a decent knife for everyday use. However, there are some drawbacks. The clip only allows for tip down, blade to the front (when in your right pocket) carry, so you can't make it open automatically when removed from your pocket. I ordered the partially serrated version and was shocked to find that the serrations were really poorly done. There was lots of metal left over that should have been removed. It did chip away really easily, but still, not something I expect on a rather pricey knife. It shows a lack of attention to detail.Nonetheless, if you don't care about tip up carry and want something that is very light weight with a high quality blade that stays sharp, this knife is hard to beat.
