I have owned many spyderco's in the last few years including a sage 1, native 4, and a cricket. The JB Rescue is the most ergonomic knife I have ever handled in my entire life and I make knives. Every grip feels perfect. The VG-10 steel is great and the hollow grind is beautiful. The handle has full stainless liners, drilled out to save weight with thick G-10 scales. The G-10 is a very fine pattern that grips the hand very well but it hasn't ripped my pocket up. The pocket clip is left/right tip up/down and covers the lanyard hole or pivot. The blade shape is very functional so don't let the looks fool you it feels perfect during use. This knife is also a smooth as oil on glass, if a knife could be to smooth this knife would be. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. - Kyle

I just picked up this knife last week. I own 12 Spydercos and an aray of other knives. This is the best knife I own. It is a solid build, egros are great and the blade is the most pratical sheepfoot blade I've ever used, it can handle all types of cutting, the upsweep at the tip make it an all round utility blade. The liner lock is solid, no blade play left, right, up or down. Great Spyderco pocket clip, I like the satin finish on the clip, no gloss here. The G10 handles are the best, just right. This is now my new EDC. I looked at a Benchmade mini Dejavoo the same time I was buying this Rescue, the Spyderco won hands down... Weight and feel are just right on the Rescue, you won;t regret buying one.
