This is a curious little knife that I just had to try based on looks alone. It's not what I typically would carry, but Spyderco has never done me wrong and I found the shape to be intriguing. In hand it actually works really well. In pocket, maybe not quite as well considering tha the knife is almost as wide as it is long. It concentrates the weight so if I'm wearing loose clothing it can swing around a little bit. As a result, I usually only use this knife when wearing long pants. Everything about the Balance screams quality. Excellent attention to detail but this kind of quality doesn't come cheap. I can't remember what I spent exactly, but somewhere on the order of 100 bucks. I'm glad I bought it overall.
