I have had this knife on me daily for over three years now and while I don't love it, I really like it. I don't see where the thumb studs are cutting people or are hard to use (perhaps soft hands). It was stiff to open early on, but a disassembly and cleaning, followed by just a drop of gun oil on the pivot slicked it right up. The pocket clip works well, easy enough to slip in and out and holds tight enough to not fall out while crawling around under vehicles or equipment. If carried loose it will grab thin things like coins and keys in your pocket. Only complaint is that it doesn't hold an edge anymore. That alone knocked it down just a tad from love to like.

Comments:

This knife is IMHO suitable for carry in New York City as it seems to me to be unable to be opened by flicking or centrifigal force. If you carry a knife in NYC, you know why this is important.
Stays sharp. Light. The knife handle is a little too smooth to use for dressing game or serious defense work. Good EDC knife.

Comments:

Razor sharp out of the box. Thumb stud edges sharp and cause pain and abrasions with use. Open frame attracts coins in pocket and dumps coins whenever you remove it from your pocket.
Pocket clip holds extremely tight making it difficult to clip into pocket, impossible to do with one hand. Overall concidering price it serves well and you won't consider suicide when you loose it.

This a good basic knife. I owned this knife for aprox 6 or 7 years before I lost it. I never had problems with the clip or opening it and found it held its edge pretty well considering the price of the knife.
