6 months into ownership, it will not lock open,and a one year warranty, who wears out a knife in one year??,let alone 6 months. i contacted Gerber, and they sent Me elsewhere, and they said, basically, tough shit buddy,,We got ya., and Oh, i bought 5, for gifts, because I assumed They had a life time warranty, like BUCK, and were a good product. if I don't get some kind of repair, i am going to bad mouth "GERBER KNIVES till the day I die, face book, whatever, and I do have sign on My tailgate stating what a rip off Gerber is,,million dollar business, screwing an average hard working customer, guess that is why They are a million dollar business. Said My Piece!.

I got this knife to replace an old knife i had lost. I needed something that was sharp, something easy to open, and something I could abuse and it would take it. THIS IS YOUR KNIFE! I am very happy with it. It holds it edge quite well, opens very very fast, locks securely, and there isn't even a scratch on the blade. I am very harsh on knives, and for this one to be still kicking with now scratches makes me very happy.
Get one, you will love it.

I have had this knife for nearly 2 years now, and it has remained a reliable every day carry.

It is light and easy to carry. The pocket clip makes it very quick to open and keeps it out of the way.

The blade keeps a good edge if sharpened every couple of months.

After my house burned, I went inside to retrieve some items and found this knife sitting on my desk. It was one of the only knives I grabbed and hasn't failed me yet.

Bought this knife shortly after buying a Kershaw Leek. At first I loved this knife. Positives - Opens very quickly and solidly. Very easy to open also. Looks good and feels good in the hand.

Negatives - I feel the blade steel is sub-par but for the price isn't horrible. My example dulled very quickly and took a while to get back the edge. Mine is a serrated version which I really didn't want but it was the only one available at the time. I like Gerber as a company and do carry this knife when out working in the garage or checking cattle etc. The unlocking mechanism is okay but a little awkward for one-handed closing. Overall it is an okay knife but wouldn't use it as my EDC. Going to look at other Gerbers to buy.

This is my every-day pocket knife and has been for almost 2 years (wow that went fast). I've sharpened it once, and it has always performed as expected.

It is lightweight, easy to open and close one-handed, quick to open, and rides deep in the pocket due to the design of the pocket clip, keeping it mostly out of sight.

No complaints, and highly recommended to anyone looking for a good every-day knife.

I received this knife for Christmas. I have been looking for an affordable knife that I can use and abuse everyday at work.

I have been using this knife for 3 months now and it has performed flawlessly. The knife feels great in the had and opens quickly with a firm lock up. The dege holds up well to hard use and is very easy to sharpen.

I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced hard working knife.
