Being a female, my biggest issues with purchasing a knife were blade size, thickness, and being able to handle the tool. The 707 is super slim, fitting perfectly in my pocket or boot without requiring me to pry open the belt clip.

The size is perfect for someone with smaller hands, which makes the knife easy to open and close single handed.

While I've heard many debates on the thumb "stud" verses thumb "hole," I found as a first time knife owner I prefer the thumb stud until I became proficient with the knife's operation.

The only issue I've discovered is the tension screw was loose to begin with and still requires adjustment more frequently than it should; however, this does not impede my use of the knife.

I'd definitely buy it again.

This is a very slim, well built knife by benchmade. At a price under $110, this blade can't be beat for EDC. The axis lock is superior to all other locks, IMO. The blade is nice and big. The handle is fairly small and would be difficult for those with large hands to get a good grip.
I don't like the G10 inserts in the handle, it kind of throws the knife's good looks off.

Still a great, affordable EDC that I would recommend to anyone.

My particular 707 has been plagued with blade-play and is in need of a locktite job.

Since being given one of these by a friend, I have tried to find something I liked better, or that I liked at least as much, many times. I've bought other Benchmades, Spydercos, Mcustas, etc. and while I like some of the other knives, somehow the 707 still ends up being my favorite EDC companion.

It's light, it's thin, it's sturdy. The blade has plenty of belly, so much so that somehow this little knife always feels bigger than it really is to me.

It's just as at home in dress pants as it is in jeans, slim and light enough for light "gentleman's knife" duties, but sturdy enough to rely on for heavier tasks if necessary. Tip up carry with a nice (albeit not deep carry) clip and an axis lock make for easy access and opening.

My only complaints would be that it is a little boxy, so it could be even more comfortable to be used with the edges of the scales rounded down a bit and the other would be that the G10 inlay is sort of goofy. It doesn't look bad, but it doesn't improve the appearance any either and it doesn't really feel like it adds much grip, IMO.

I got one of these a few years ago and stopped carrying just about every other knife.

It is nearly weightless and yet still strong and durable.

This was my first and only over $100 knife and will be my last.

The reason is it will last forever especially with a lifetime warranty.

Another consideration is that it is made in the USA and you can tell.

I did a review and will post that below, I do believe it is worth the money but it is still not cheap.

I carry it everywhere all the time and would recommend it to all.

I sell knives and have collected for over 13yrs.

This is my favorite small knife.

2.95", mod-clip-point, 154CM.

Very smooth to open, a lot like my 943.

The reason for the "7" on ergonomics is that

smaller knifes don't feel as good to me.

I don't rate any knife with a 10 overall, so

this small knife is tops.

Good smaller EDC.

Both an elegant gent folder and an efficient EDC.
The 154CM steel is just tremendous, easy to sharpen and holding a very good edge for a long time.
Axis lock is sweet and strong.
You don't feel it in the pocket and the clip is weel designed.
And what a look ! One of the most beautiful knife I own...I do not regret my purchase !
