Very nice S30V blade. An ideal "gentlemen's folder". High quality handle materials. Not good for, or intended for, hard use. Quality leather pouch. Nak-lock is a modified liner lock. My only negative with the knife. The Axis lock is a much better option. Overall, a great knife that can make anyone look classy. Even a dirtbag, like me.

Comments:

Very useful knife: it is lightweight, without feeling cheap, and providing great fit and finish when open and closed. The blade is small enough to not be threatening, but long and tough enough for day to day needs; plus the S30v steel takes a great edge. The Nak-lock mechanism is easy and natural to disengage, with the added benefit of not leaving your fingers near the blade as it closes. The hinge holds strong and has no play and is easy to tighten or loosen with the tiny torx screw bit. (lanyard ring would also make excellent pommel)

I am reviewing the shoki as seen in this in this photo. Great feel in the hand, light enough to wear with even a suit yet large enough to get any job done, the wine wood inlay has a great texture, and the action on the blade and the nak-lock is smooth, it came shaving sharp and its been easy to keep it that way. i am not impressed with the leather sheath, it does not match the quality of the knife. overall, i love this knife and would recommend it to anyone looking for a gentlemans carry without sacrificing the durability of an edc.
