i got this knife a couple years ago as a gift to myself for passing my EMT class. this knife is a great rescue knife. the rounded blade is very nice and i dont have to worry about stabbing a patient. the spring assist is lightning quick. the carbide glass breaker on the back of the handle takes out car windows with literally no effort. i am very happy with this knife and recommend this to every EMT and firefighter.

i pick this knife up at walmart at a closeout sale that i couldnt pass up. its a very sturdy and well built knife, but i cant get over the fact the the serrations seem to cover a majority of the blade... i do like how the blade is quite thick and stands up to tuff use.

i picked up this multi tool for a heck of a deal on ebay. since then, i have had it on my belt every day! it is a little heavy, but it makes up for it with the amount of tools on it. i put it to use almost every day at work pulling industrial staples out of boxes or cutting zip ties. the only down side i can think of is that the scissors on mine are a little sticky, but its nothing major.

THE SHABARIA MOVED MY SPYDERCO KRIS KNIVES OUT OF THE TOP FIGHTING KNIFE POSITION. THE DESIGN LOOKS STRANGE BUT, FOR THE KNOWLEDGABLE FIGHTER, IT'S PERFECT. THE HOLE IS PARTIALLY COVERED BY THE KNIFE BODY, THIS TAKES A BIT OF GETTING USED TO. THIS IS A FIGHTING KNIFE, DESIGNED TO BE HELD IN AN OVERHAND/ICE PICK GRIP. THE QUALITY IS SECOND TO NONE AND IS A VERY AGGRESSIVE KNIFE IN A TAME PACKAGE. IF YOU PURCHASE THIS KNIFE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN "SELF DEFENSE" OR AS A COLLECTOR, YOU MAY BE DISSAPOINTED.

this is easily one of the most intimidating knives i have ever owned. the blade took a while to build the edge to my likings. the auto-lawks feature is very cool and give the added extra security against having the blade close on my fingers. i know CRKT says this can stab through a board of plywood and i don't argue with it. i wish they were made in the USA.

A great edc, defensive knife. I NEVER use my self defense knives to cut anything. I save them for the job that I hope never comes. This is one fine penetrator. Rock solid too.

ever since i first laid eyes upon this knife i was in love. i got this knife and had a blast with it for the first 6 months. there are a ton of ways to open this knife and it each one is innovative. i have never seen such a funky knife. the blade was nice and sharp. unfortunately after a few months i noticed a small problem. when closing the knife, the blade would hit the spring inside the handle. that resulted in a nice chip out of the blade. i tried sharpening out the chip but it always came back. i called Kai USA and they told me the knife was being discontinued and i could send it back and pick out another knife of the same value. i was a little sad that i couldn't just have it fixed. this is a great great collector, but it seems the knife was hastily released without having all the minor bugs worked out.

i nicknamed this knife the tank. it is a very stout folder that is made to get down to business. the M390 steel took forever to reshape, but after i got it all set, it is nice and sharp. the handle is not the most ergonomic one i have come across, but i personally don't mind it. i love the color of the G10. the Titanium monolock locks up nice and tight. when i first got the knife the lock would stick alot. now that it is broken in, the lock is nice and smooth.

this knife is a real head turner! the 154CM takes an edge very well and it stays scary sharp for a long time without any touchup work. for a knife of this size it rides very nicely in the pocket. the axis lock is easily gods gift to the knife enthusiast. the G10 handle is very classy and solid. i kind of wish they had put a little more texturing on the G10. i got the black finish on the blade and it shows its use, but i put this knife through hell and back on a daily basis. the blade stays nice and centered, just like every other Benchmade. i cannot find a single negative thing to say about this knife.

i got this knife right before it was discontinued from Benchmade. unfortunately i made the mistake of not being patient and i got the black blade finish because it was all that was in stock. the knife had a very solid lock and was smooth as silk. it seems a majority of reviews have knocked it for have no detent, but i found that a nice feature. i could literally open it with the smallest flick of my wrist. the black finish on the blade was fragile and became quite scratched after just a couple weeks of EDC use. the steel held a shaving sharp edge very well. i was very pleased with the knife and i would have had nothing negative to say if i had only gotten the satin finish. i foresee a satin blade version in the distant future

The Tremor is a great knife, don't get me wrong, but it's let down by shoddy manufacturing. Kershaw produces most of its more affordable blades (talking less than 40$ or so) in China, and regardless of the QC, the materials are the biggest letdown of the Tremor. Mine came from the retailer with two screws stripped on my pocket clip, so I can't flip the clip to tip up, and the G10 is slightly matted, which is annoying for a brand new knife. That said it came pretty sharp from Kershaw, always a plus, and the action (which needs a lot of help for an assisted opener unfortunatly) is pretty good. Cost taken into account, it's a good knife but not stellar.

WM, these are great reviews. It's awesome to get the perspective of a custom knife maker!

I got three of the original batch of Kershaw Tilt's and I'll likely never sell them. As far as I'm concerned, it's perfect in every respect. The weight is increadibly light for a knife this larger, it has perfect ergonomics, amazing materials and the fit and finish is on par with knives that cost twice as much, even at just over two bones. I've replaced my old Volt with a Tilt as my new EDC and it's been just an amazing piece of equipment. Because I have three I'm not worried about messing one up, and have actually gotten quite a bit of use on it. The finishes are durable, Vanex-75 holds a stupidly sharp edge and the bearing system is awesome. The only bad thing I can say about it is it's hard to buy one, since Kershaw is having tons of problems producing them.

There really is no reason not to love the 14480 Nitrous Blitz. For those who don't know, the HK brand of knives are manufactured as a joint venture with Benchmade. As such, these are some of the finest American produced blades you're likely to ever come by. That said, this knife also has Benchmade's Nitrous assisted opening system, which is frankly the best assisted opening mech ever produced. It uses a laser cut titanium liner system which has a pair of tortion bars that kick the blade out into the open position when the thumb stud is actuated. The result is an assisted opening mechanism that's increadibly fast (faster than some autos), easy to use, doesn't use springs and is increadibly durable. I carried a 14480 every day for about three years, used it realatively heavily and I've found it to be increadibly durable. The ergonomics are great too; if you can get over the tip down only configuration of the pocket clip, the knife is thin, lightweight, comfortable in hand and has perfect balance. It's a shame Benchmade and HK don't make this knife anymore, it really is one of the finest knives Benchmade or HK have ever produced.
