Tough, attractive and very usable. Would also make a fine collectible, as no more are being made.

superior Knife, very short handle, but super handeling !
Strong like a tank, perfect finish, better than strider,
10000000 times better than the Emerson knifes.
I am sorry but ther are two total different quality levels !
go to your local dealer and check the knife, take a little time
to get the feeling for the short handle, but you will fast understand that the short handle is not a mistake from ZT / Strider, no its perfect.
great controul, graet handeling, sharp blade, made to survive 1000 Years, match better than the made in europe knives (i am from europe..)

Hey man, I have the XT 0121, and have had it since 2008! I just finished with survival school and this knife served me flawlessly the entire 9 months. I built shelters, made fire, dug holes, even processes a few animals, it's my favorite survival knife. I have had so many compliments on this beauty. Can't say enough nice things about my knife, and it's not a 6 inch Rambo knife! You can actually have a survival knife that's under 5 inches! Incredible! Thanks for the review, just thought I would double tap the excellence of this knife.

first of all, i am sorry for my bad english.
i am owne the ZT0100 more than 2 Years, it is one of my favorit knives.
I owne more than 12 knives like, a Spyderco Manix 2 XL, Zero Tolerance 0121, ZT 0301, ZT 0300 ST, Spyderco Woodlander, Benchmade 950 Rift.... and some more, but der is no Knife whit a so perfect shaped handle like this one.
Perfect balance, very good build quality (top finish), you just like to have the knife the hole day in your hand, it cuts very well, handling is superior, nice.
a little big and heavy but it will survive me whit out any problem, made like a tank.
Its not a pocket knife, to big, to heavy, but a excellent outdoor
knife made of NOT stainless steel, sharp like hell, made in USA,
(mutch better than the european knives, and iam from europa).
also a nice knife is the ZT0121.

This review is in regard to Kershaw's warranty.

My Kershaw lock blade knife came with a limited lifetime warranty. It fell apart after only using it for a few years. Kershaw advised me that the product is no longer being produced, and parts are no longer available and wouldn't be covered by warranty.

The knife blade was held in by a threaded brass pipe with two screws. The threaded part of the screw is less 3/32nds of an inch in diameter with very fine threads. The only screw I could find after they both fell out had only 2 threads, hardly enough considering the part it's holding in. The screws were not even secured with LockTite.

Kershaw would not honor the warranty because one of the two screws was lost. Hard to believe they would use this as an excuse, but they did. I've kept the email response as proof.

I wrote to their executive management, but they couldn't even be bothered to reply. The only response I received was my original letter with a post-it-note to contact their
warranty department, who has already said there would be no warranty coverage.

If your looking for a quality knife with a warranty worth something other than toilet paper, look for a different manufacturer. Kershaw doesn't honor their warranty, and
their product is cheap junk.

It doesn't sound like you are referring to the Kershaw model 1028 Antelope Hunter. There are no screws and nothing to "fall apart." It is a fixed blade knife with a molded handle. See photo above.

The Fulcrum C is an extremely robust and versatile knife, the blade can take loads over 150kg without breaking, the point is incredibly robust and the "tanto" profile means the knife can be used for long periods without affecting the sharpness of the last section. I own a FKMD Stealth drop point, and I know they are not designed for the same purpose but the build quality, the black zirconium nitride finish, and the shape of the blade and the steel used make it my best knife.

My 483 Shori , First things first . This is a very nice knife . The right size for EDC , looks great and won't scare people when you use it , made with top of the line features , very sharp . But there are some things that are a letdown . The opening of this knife is not the best idea , the thumb stud is small and when I use it it seems to take a little slice of my thumb with it . After carrying it for a while I wish it had a clip . And its a little pricey . FC . .

-Price Paid: $40.00

Comments:

I work as a mechanic who installs custom accessories on ATVs as well as living on a farm and spending most of my time outdoors. Needless to say an EDC work knife has been a "must have" for me for several years and I have carried just about every brand you can think of including a small spydero folder in the past which I really enjoyed. I recently purchased a tenacious and I believe I have found a winner. My knives get used and abused heavily and I learned long ago that no matter what you spend you will eventually break or lose every knife so I tend to look for knives with a good reputation in the $35-40 range rather than spending $100 only to lose it around the farm. I've been carrying this knife for about 6 months and so far it has held up better than any other brand I've tried in the past. It has been used for skinning, cutting everything from paper and cardboard to plastic and metal..I've used it to hammer finishing nails, do some prying, and even used the thumb hole to bend fence wire and the blade still locks up just as tight as the day I bought it and holds a razor sharp edge. I figured this would be a tough knife but every other brand I've carried eventually develops some blade-wobble or is just plain worn out after a few months of hard use..not the case with the tenacious. As far as maintenance goes I simply use my sharpener every other night or so and give it a coat of oil maybe once a week. On top of the durability my favorite thing about this knife is the size and feel. I like bigger folders when it comes to farm work and this thing is the perfect size..big enough for serious work but small enough to carry comfortably. The handle is great and you really feel like you're holding a solid, sturdy tool when you deploy this knife. I've had several people comment on the feel when I let them use it. The jimping on the back of the blade is probably the best I've seen on any folder period. Spyderco nailed it..you won't have to worry about this knife slipping when you push it into something. Last but not least the knife just has a great and aggressive look to it and a very strong "click" when it locks open..add that to the size of the blade and handle and you've got a very good defensive knife if need be. To sum up I think my search for a permanent, low cost EDC knife is over..the fact that it still functions like new after 6 months of constant hard work is already more than I expect out of a $40 knife so now I'm curious to see just how long it will keep going before I need to order another one. At the very least I'll be sticking with spyderco from here on out and I can't imagine anyone on a budget being disappointed in this knife. Thanks spyderco!

I really like this folder. this is my first Compression lock experience from Spyderco, and wharncliffe is very appeal to me.

Build quality is great! I received this knife flawlessly perfect.. No complaints at all. blade is centered, no play on all sides, grippy G10, etc... and the blade open smoothly.

the ergonomics, well, it really melts in my hand on choked up grip, hammer grip, inverted hammer grip, and I don't feel the knife will lose it's grip in my hand.. it's tapered end of the handle makes it easy to retrieve from the pocket. but I only give it 9 pts because the wide part on the handle is likely snagged when I put mine in the pocket... but I do like how the design serve as a finger guard also.

build quality? it is my first Golden-made product and The build quality impresses me.

I like this folder, it is fun to play with. I never be a big fan of lanyards on my knife and this design works real well for me as edc knife. it is a precise power cutter and it is not that heavy; I would like to buy another compression lock folders!

Best lock ever. Cold steel really has something with triad lock. Absolutely no blade movement. I love aus-8 steel. Wharncliffe style blade makes for a different carry. Finger choil makes knife bigger than it is. Slightly thick. Overall a good lightweight EDC that sparks a conversation when you open it. Has a great edge out of box, easy to bring back to shaving sharp. Not too menacing looking.

First of all, there are two different DPx Original knives are available. One is made by Ontario, I bought it over a year ago. It is dull from the box, slippery handle, so-so blade coating. I sold it right away, because it frankly hated it.
Six months later I found out that there is another Original on the market - made by ROWEN. I bought it, I am very happy with it still, six months later.
It is day and night compare to Ontario. Rowen has top quality manufacturing process. Blade is shaving sharp, beautiful blade coating, fit and finish are just great. I am enjoying it all the time.
Rowen's heat treating process is amazing. 1095 steel holds an edge and it's easy to resharpen it.
On another hand, Ontario missed the boat with its quality control. I wouldn't buy any Ontario knives. But I already bought three Rowen made ESEE knives - Izula and 4 and 6. Love them all.
I would rate just Ontario DPx Original knife for no higher than 3-4, Rowen's DPx is easily 9-10. That's my opinion.

It was dull straight out of box. Nice and comfortable design. Steel is NOT holding edge at all - very poor heat treatment. Add it's made in China ... And look somewhere else. I bought Knucklehead and happy with that.

I use it as my "Dress Up" knife. It is a little delicate for EDC for me. This is a great knife. Built quality is great. It is long so tip control is difficult for intricate work. My biggest complaint is the amount of thumb strength required to draw the knife in.
