Oh dear, sweet baby Jesus.. I love this knife. This thing is so solid and ready for abuse that it's satisfying just holding it like I'm about to go into battle in the Scottish Highlands. The TriAD lock clicks into the open locked position with such an authoritative "Thwack!" that I still grin every time I open it. Unless you're a steel snob, the AUS-8 is great. With a little touch up once in a while I can keep it so sharp that Disney called me to borrow it in the next Star Wars movie as a stand in for Luke Skywalkers lightsaber. I feel like they had to put a black coating on the blade to cover up the fact that it glows with unbridled power when I turn the lights off, and it says mean things to my cat when I'm not around. Even the G-10 handle's stubby texture is aggressive and has a certain no-nonsense demeanor.. it's like having Jason Statham in your pocket. I sit around a flip this knife open when I'm watching tv, or washing dishes, or using the men's room. Sometimes I turn all the lights out and sit in the middle of my living room floor Indian-style and flip it open while I laugh loudly enough for my neighbors to hear. Best 40 bucks I ever spent. My only criticism at this point is actually directed toward my wife, the knife is perfect.

I have had this knife on me daily for over three years now and while I don't love it, I really like it. I don't see where the thumb studs are cutting people or are hard to use (perhaps soft hands). It was stiff to open early on, but a disassembly and cleaning, followed by just a drop of gun oil on the pivot slicked it right up. The pocket clip works well, easy enough to slip in and out and holds tight enough to not fall out while crawling around under vehicles or equipment. If carried loose it will grab thin things like coins and keys in your pocket. Only complaint is that it doesn't hold an edge anymore. That alone knocked it down just a tad from love to like.

As a knife collector and ex-military I never owned a better knife than the ZT0200.
It fits perfectly in my hand and its cutting ability is amazing. The ZT0200 keeps its edge for a long time and it is easy to re-sharpen. For a folder the ZT0200 is pretty heavy but I don't mind the weight.
The G10 handle is very rough, what result in a perfect grip but as downside it rips up my pockets.

might make a fine collector, as someone mentioned. but tap it on an anvil or a rock and it'll break like glass, which is why i would never want a combat fixed blade made of S30V. For a small folder, or even a small hunting knife that will only cut soft material, it does have pretty good edge retention. But somehow people got the idea that S30V was tough, and it's not, it's actually quite brittle.

Comments appear to be opinion on steel. Any actual bad experience with the one you own?

The SOG Flashback Mini is a very good edc option from SOG for 2014. The open-assist is very fast and strong, with a very good pocket clip, handle design, and other features. Very good traction on this knife even though the handle is stainless steel.

This is one well designed knife! VG10 is a wonderful steel for a folding knife. Holds and edge, and sharpens well, without even a bit of corrosion or rust. The handle is very ergonomic, and the edges are all rounded, fitting well in my pocket and kind to my hands, but the volcano grippy texture on the sides provide ample grip...even when wet. The Emerson wave is a marvelous invention, giving the user an almost fail-proof lightning presentation. I've bought three of these and given two away! If you get one and loan it out, you may loose it.

Worst quality knife I have ever owned. What a piece of junk. Within 2 days of owning this knife the spring in the locking mechanism broke and the tip of the blade broke off. I will never buy another Boker product.

The Domino is a really cool knife. It is sort of Tenacious meets Paramilitary. The frame lock is perfect and the carbon fiber scale really sets it off. The carbon fiber has some nice grip to it. The blade shape is great, allowing for a great deal of cutting pressure to be applied. The knife is smooth, easy to deploy, and feels great in hand. The Domino has a flipper, which I think is unnecessary because the hole in the blade is easier to open the knife with. The knife is sort of a Goldilocks in terms of size...not to big, not too small, just right. It's a heavy duty knife, and along with that comes heavy duty weight. It feels extremely solid and stout, but my only quip is that I wish it was a little bit lighter. All around damn near perfect though.

Cool little knife. Glass fiber handle is really neat looking. The knife is smooth all around, no rough surfaces to improve grip. The handles are smooth too so the knife can get slippery. For a knife this small, it is actually fairly comfortable to hold. The handle is pretty wide so there is some substance to the knife. I love frame locks and this one feels great. Aesthetics are subjective but I like them on this blade.

I'm surprised this knife has the SpyderCo logo on it. I own other SpyderCo's and absolutely love them. This one however, is nothing special at all. It isn't big enough to cut anything significant, and doesn't grip very well. It doesn't lock, so I wouldn't feel safe about cutting anything, even if I had to. Overall, unless you want to own it for the name, this knife is useless.

The Schrade SCHF25 is a great budget tactical blade. Made out of good materials and at a great price of $40 it could be exactly what you want in a blade that is very ergonomic with lots of traction and a blade design that really works!
