I love the exclusive and fashionable look of this knife.
I have the one with stainless steel handle and I appreciate the metalwork in the handle and in the higher part of the blade (like emmental cheese). The damascus VG10 blade is a nice plus in this price range. This knife isn't big (overall 7.68") so it's the size for a good EDC, not for heavy use. The linerlock is a bit hard to push, so it could be difficult close the knife with one hand. I suggest this knife for every collection and for those who dress finely.

I have to say I'm from Italy, so you understand the high price of the knife and my faulty English.

This is a great looking and useful knife. The size, the S30V blade, the ergonomics are suited for a light all-around EDC.
The axis-lock works great, it is one of the knives that I more easily open/close with one hand. The titanium handle grip is superb.
I generally prefer a bit heavier handle (the balance of the knife is in the front of the knife) but this is a personal taste.
The problem, in Europe, is the price, you can't find this knife under 200 euros (270 bucks)...
At last I suggest this knife for those who need an all-around EDC, it is sporty and dressy in the same time.

Hi, I have to say I'm from Italy, so you understand the price and my "strange" English.
This is a well done cool-original EDC knife. Winner of 2010 award for most innovative design.
You can find it in 2 sizes (sr1 94 mm/ sr 2 78 mm). The SR1 with a total length of 211 mm (8,31") is the one i prefer: there's a version with an aluminum handle (mine- SR1A) and one with a titanium handle (SR1). I prefer the aluminium for 2 reasons: 1) the price is 40% less 2) Weight is about 30% less (158 gr vs 201 gr) but you don't have nice wood box and better blade steel.
The knife is tough, you feel the high quality. The blade has great look, probably to nice for some use for an EDC knife (cutting food is not easy). The linerlock is solid, and it has a nice extra: a rotoblock safety system that blocks the blade in the open position, by turning it. The screw clip is equipped with a glass-breaker. I think that this knife it will be a modern "classic", I suggest it for a nice folder collection.

The first time I saw this knife on web i fell in love with it.
The first time I folded this knife in my hand my love grew...
I think that the look is amazing, and so is the size and weight, optimal for my concept of an EDC knife.
The open mechanism (flipper) works great, and you can easily open/close the knife with one hand. The linerlock is thick but not hard to push. The blade uses a good steel (CTS 204P) and it comes very sharp out of the box.
The handle, probably, could be improved in the look, but the g10 grip is one the best you can find.
I have many EDC knife but this is, for sure, one of my favorites

This is one of those knives that is looked upon very favorably in Kershaw history. It is now discontinued but it as a stellar blade. The ergonomics are great, the steel is decent, and the build quality is top notch. I don't remember exactly what I paid for it, but I recall that it was quite reasonable. Sadly these can't be had, but Kershaw currently offers the Blur which is very similar, if not an evolution of the Avalanche, and it is equally well regarded.

I have to tell you I'm from Italy (so you understand the atypical price and the strange English).
This FOX ANSO FLIPPER isn't only a trendy knife but is a well-done EDC with very good value.
The flipper opening mechanism works very well, you could easily open the knife with a gentle movement of your wrist.
The blade is made of a good steel (N690Co), flexuose and 9 cm (3,5")long; it looks like a dinosaur claw. I have the one with pallissander handle that i love for the cool prehistoric look.
This isn't only for collection, use this knife and you will not regret it.

Hi, I have to say that I'm from Italy, so you could understand the price and my "strange" english.

I like this knife, it is a great quality tank knife.
The only con I could find is the axis lock on this knife don't work as well as on other benchmades: probably because of the big size you can't easily open/close it with one hand opening the lock (you could easily with 940 or griptilian). For the size i don't suggest it for EDC, it is in the class of spyderco military so it's better for heavy use/self defence

I have the one with a titanium handle; the price is for a second hand.
I like the design, the toughness and the quality of blade.
My blade isn't perfectly centered and the linerlock is a bit hard for one-hand use. Too big for EDC use, i think that is more helpful for self-defence or more intensive use.
This is good knife but for that price you could also contemplate other brands (or other spy)

Great value for the price.
This mythic knife doesn't get discussed: 50 year life, 15000000 sold... Very tough knife, sharp out of the box, and with a great look. Not really an EDC knife, but for everyone who loves folding knives and everyone who needs a working horse!

This knife is amazing.
I have it with the Ivory micarta handle; you can feel quality in every detail.
It's a real EDC: the knife has a clip and you can open/close it easily with one hand. The blade is so smooth when it comes out and you feel a reassuring nice clang when it is in right position.
The steel is 3G like vg10, but harder (61 vs 59 HRC)and with better edge retention (probably not easy to resharpen...)
The liner lock is a bit thin but doesn't change the overall toughness. The only con of the knife is the weight: 180 gr (near my buck 110- 210 gr).
I recommend this knife for collection and for a tough EDC

Hi,
i use this knife in the garden and the back garden, and generally outdoors. I love the axis lock on this knife, you can easily open/close with one hand (which you can't do so well with other benchmade knives).
The design, the size and the balance of the knife are perfect.
The antirust blade (N680 steel) is a good plus when using in the outdoors (about 15-20 bucks for this).
The handle material looks and feels bit cheap, but the grip (oh yes the name!!!) is great. In my opinion the colour is fabulous.
I definitely recommend this knife as an EDC or light outdoor

The manufacturing quality on this knife is very good. Ergonomics are incredibly excellent. I like that fact that the grip is thicker on this model than the 0560, I feel it fits better in my hand. The blade is thick and very sharp out of the box. This knife is very smooth when flicked open. It takes a bit to get used to opening with the thumb stud, but I usually just flick it opened. You will not be disappointed if you buy this blade.
